He said he loves the Allams and if they go he goes, it came as a bit of a surprise to me too.

 

He just comes across well, and you really need to listen to appreciate that.

Basically was talking about the situation and that the team spirit has been the key to the successful start. Also Mike Phelan has to take a lot of credit, and it seems unlike SB, he looks at teams strengths and weaknesses, and then trains and sets up teams during the week to combate them.

Talked about his time at Villa and how he didn't get on well with Martin O'Neill.

Also how well the youngsters have done, and picking out Tymon and Bowen as stand out performers.

Astounds me if it's true that Bruce didnt take into account the opposition and just set up the same way every time. Not only is that ****ing stupid in terms of countering what they offer, it also makes us extremely predictable and easy for any team to prepare to play us.

to be honest our squad is thread bare.............. all we need is a few more injuries and were in this position again.
we need at least 2 players competing for every position.

 

Livermore is absolutely capable at centre-half....even though we have 3 very good centre-halves when they're all fit, I would be happy for him to stay there long term if we got another replacement in midfield for him. Only problem is, it would mean leaving out Harry and Dawson.
