One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. http://www.cheltenham.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=579222
Hmmm...Some things overlooked in that article. First up and I could be wrong but I thought the legislation was enforced by government and not any footballing body in England. Now I know Celtic may be trialing it but is Scotland governed by different rules. Now existing structures will be governed by different aspects of the legislation but we've already had safe standing in Germany for many years, so until such time our governing bodies change it's attitudes of social cleansing, this may not get off the ground.
The last lines of the article states that clubs that have spent at least 3 years in the Championship since 1994 do not qualify - so that rules out Gills
The only thing wrong with grumpygit's post is not in (almost) being fooled that the team had any hope - but in the hope that we might even need extra capacity at Gillingham..................... any time soon !
Well - what with Brexit Scally will be worried that he will lose a lot of cheap European labour to do the building.............................. ...................................... ............................................ .................................... of all the new houses that could fit on Priestfield -- mind you - he's already got all the scaffolding he'll need ( BMS )
