Table topping Chairboys welcome Pompey to Adams Park for their second ever visit but this weekend it's not about the football it's all about the officials and a certain Andy D'Urso when is this idiot going to retire there is always controversy wherever he goes whether its a red card or a disallowed goal penalty or dive he gets the big decisions wrong and usually upsets both sets of fans so expect more of the same. The Chairboys go into the game without skipper Paul Hayes who looks to be missing from the action for the next three weeks so its likely to be Aaron Holloway to lead the attack again with Hogan Ephraim and Danny Rowe looking for a start. I will be missing from this one bloody work and with that prat officiating we will do well do come away with a draw and our reign at the top of the table coming to an end let hope I'm wrong or the weather intervenes or D'Urso falls ill and can't make the game we can hope
Andy D'Urso never fails to amaze me when refereeing us... I just really hope that this time he surprises us with a good performance! Id like to see Ephraim or McClure come into the team just to give it something a bit different upfront - perhaps a 4-4-2 with Ephraim out wide and fred upfront with McClure or holloway
Hello Guy & Co. Pompey fan in peace (or pieces ) Be gentle with us tomorrow please Should be an interesting game. Can't remember the last time we won away from home......
Hello mate this was a game I was planning on going to as Pompey was my Dads team and he used to take me to Fratton Park some 40/ 50 years ago when we visited my grandparents in Cowplain so still not seen a Wycombe Pompey game as it always falls when I'm working I put in leave for todays game but they couldn't get cover I do hope D'Urso doesn't spoil the game as anything could happen with him in charge
Phew !! What a first half, can't believe how well we are playing so far. Pompey fans have been moaning about our manager tinkering with the team every game - we have another six changes today, going to 3 centre backs, and 2 wingbacks, and for once, it appears to be paying off ! Goalless at half time, but sounds pretty entertaining so far
Sounds as though some substitutions need to be made for the 2nd half. We should not be getting battered at home by a team who havn't won away since August.
Agreed. I was listening to the Pompey commentators (The Wycombe ones got on my nerves today). Seemed like that well coined phrase "A game of 2 halves". I'll say one thing for the Blues (Wanderers) - they are a very fit bunch. The first half I was relieved to go in at 0-0. The longer it went on I felt the more chance we had. Draw fair result
How's life treating you Ron ? The Chairboys should go up this year - what a complete turnaround from last season, eh
