    What he said about Bruce had absolutely **** all to do with what happened at Hull United, it was you dragged up something completely unrelated in a bizarre attempt to slag off our best ever player.

    He wasn't talking about last season, why would he? Bruce spent all last season in the treatment room.

    As for this bollocks about Hull United, has nothing to do with his integrity as a person, he made the choice to go in and leave again.

    I also love that you're in a position to call bullshit with as much a leg to stand on as Oscar Pistorius. Bit simplistic to not trust anybody who has played in the professional game, I've met Ashbee dozens of times, there's no reason he'd lie whatsoever, what would he have to gain? It's not like I'm a journalist or a potential employer.

    I asked him the question "why do you think Harry Maguire didn't play more under Bruce? It seems odd looking back" And his response was that Bruce preferred playing his son. When I asked how he knew, he said he was told by a higher up at he club, but that it was pretty common knowledge that he rated his son as a lot better than he actually was. Simple as.

    Sorry for not questioning deeper and calling his integrity out, next time I see him I'll definitely ask him to clarify everything he says, provide proof of everything and ensure everybody is satisfied that what he is saying isn't a lie.

    Yes, it is guesswork from Ashbee, or whoever told Ashbee. Just because somebody said it does not mean it is FACT. Indeed unless Bruce Senior told him - because he is literally the only person on the planet who knows the reasons - then Ashbee has absolutely zero evidence that this is this case.
