Reported Leeds United target Massimo Coda has offers on the table for him, according to his agent. The Salernitana frontman was touted as a possible arrival at Elland Road last month, according to Italian outlet Salernonotizie. It was reported that Coda was wanted by Massimo Cellino, but whether the shift in power towards new investor Andrea Radrizzani has moved their attention away from the striker is open to debate.
Does this mean we get money for him? Are they that daft? I'd settle for just getting rid http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....-as-replacement-for-conor-hourihane-1-8355656
We shouldn't be selling him. He still has plenty to offer. I also fully expect him to start & be in charge of running & managing our midfield
Does it ever? TBH, it's not drawing the same interest as it has in previous years. It was about our only bit of mid-season anticipation & excitement. Now we play bloody good football & it goes & wrecks this tradition. How dare you, Mr Monk!
And he's only 21 - give him 2 years and if he doesn't take the world by storm move him on at that point. He has the potential, to be realised here or elsewhere - only player Monk appears to be failing with.
He's really disappointed me, and has only had 1 good season IMO. However, I believe he has only one problem - his weight. He's still young, and hopefully will get permanent control over it. I noticed the other night that he looked a bit trimmer, and had a little bit more pace. He'll need time to get the balance between weight, pace & stamina sorted out. No doubt about his skill, & I now agree that we should be patient with him. My knee-jerk has always been to get rid, but my considered view now is to give him a year or two's contract.
WJ. If his problem is his weight then that shows a piss poor attitude for me, it's the one thing in his control that shouldn't need the coaching staff. How much desire has he got to work for a 1st team place cos Viera is leaving him behind? Question. Is Monk failing with him or is he failing Monk?? Can't believe that in this day and age he would not have been given some form of personal fitness plan.
Aye, but if he's still living with his mammy, and she says 'clear your plate', you do it - if she was anything like my mammy.
He's had three years of corner taking and hasn't managed to put one decent one in yet, He'll never be more than an average Championship player, League one within 3 years for him.
Wish him well, still young so could still develop into a very decent player, specially now he will get plenty of playing time. If it gives us finances to strengthen then tbf we have plenty in that position.
Just seen this - does this mean Brentford have conceded defeat on the Canos front? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38749071
