I did hear a while back we were after Curtis Nelson and at the time I thought it was the premier league defender but then realised it was Curtis Davies that I was thinking of. I did check this nelson guy out though and have to say.... very impressed. Only 21 and has almost 200 appearances under his belt! Granted most of them at league 2 level but not bad really. He'll also only has 1 and a half years on his contract so could get him for a bargain. Doubt none of this will happen though!

Look, if Ched Evans gets his conviction overturned, which from the little I know about the case is highly likely as he was the only one of the two who had sex with this girl in the room that night to be convicted of rape. What would people's response be then?
There would be no end of clubs in for him then and no amount of politicians and sports stars etc would be able to chirp in then, so perhaps Oldham are taking a punt on the verdict being overturned and bag themselves a very good player for L1.

The dude hasn't played footy for two years, other than with the prison guards. As of now he's a blight on society and it would be shameful for any club to employ him where kids could potentially idolize him. If he is proven innocent, then it's a sad state of affairs for the UK legal system but as of now he is guilty and deserves no sympathy.

We need to strengthen this window as the squad is thin. The next few months where the weather is bad and grounds hard will take it's toll, especially if we have the two cups still in play.

Apparently Johnson doesn't want him but the chairman does.

I've got nothing against him as justice has been served and everyone should carry on.

I hope he doesn't, if he does then we should be looking to see if we can get an early replacement for Elliott for next year.

It would be nice to see something happen soon. I know its only the beginning of the window but.....oh bugger...Gillingham have scored. And its Cody again....could do worse than sign him up. He looked quick to me 2 weeks ago.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cody_McDonald in fact he has a pretty good goal return and will be out of contract at the end of the season, so probably be available on a free, as Gillingham won't offer a contract until they know what division they are in next year.

Hunter emerged from Rovers’ Under-18 side and made four appearances for the first team in League Two. But poor time keeping and a habit of not turning up for training sessions caused the Pirates to part company with him.

The young Bristolian drifted into non-League football and made an appearance for Mangotsfield earlier this season.

Needs to get his head together by the sound of it. Doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence, but I hope he'll be told he is now drinking in the last chance saloon

Yeovil look set to beat Plymouth Argyle to the loan signing of Bristol City midfielder Bobby Reid. Bristol were thought to be reluctant to let Reid join a League 1 club, but having reconsidered, they are willing for him to join Yeovil, in hope he'll be able to help them take points off their competitors and they feel it will benefit his development more than him returning to Plymouth.
