City supposed to be after Joe Eedwards... http://www.ciderspace.co.uk/ASP/news/news.asp?NewsItemId=23010
He is a good fast paced(Agard/Baldock) forward who will play well alongside Smith/Agard. Not long left on his contract but he is happy at Gillingham.
This one written late at night - even more suspicious: 21 Jan 2015 23:12:08 Bristol City Ins Joe Mason [loan} matt smith [loan] Daniel Bentley
Always thought it was a foolish move to let Joe Edwards go in the first place. He would be good at this level, but unproven in the CCC should we get there
The Stoke Sentinal says: UCHE Ikpeazu has been recalled by his parent club Watford less than 24 hours after extending his stay at the Alex until the end of the season. A deal between the two clubs to see Ikpeazu stay in South Cheshire until May was agreed prior to the Port Vale game on Saturday and was confirmed yesterday. However, Watford have since recalled the striker who has scored twice in eight appearances and say the 19-year-old is set to sign for another Football League club on loan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uche_Ikpeazu
Seems bizarre this season that this is the third player I've known off recalled by their parent club to be moved on. Morals now going out the window in this loan market.
Didn't think you could do this, but clearly you can- Wonder what the point is- Its like us recalling Bobby Reid from Plymouth and lending him to Ipswich. Going to guess its money that is the motivator?
28 Jan 2015 08:04:50 Rumours about that Cody macdonald will sign for Bristol City after the 2nd leg of Jpt semi final between the two teams on Thursday. Same old, same old..
Matt Smith extends his loan until March 1st. Steve Cotterill confirms that we are now finished in this window.
Lot of talk about Dele Alli going to Spurs- Likely to be loaned back, but would be pretty handy if he wasn't ahead of Saturday's game.
DONE DEAL Posted at 12:02 Bristol City striker Wes Burns joins Cheltenham Town on loan until the end of the season.
I see the situation as being this - we will do no business today. However Cotts will use the loan system to bring in another striker in March once Matt Smith returns to Fulham
I see it different now, Cotts said yesterday he needs to assess Wes Burns, hinting he might be needed. So I think he has his eye on someone. Also if Spurs buy Dele Alli then they can't loan him back until the 7th can they? Be nice if that's true
