I suspect they are biding their time, if this betting claim is proved I would think they have good grounds to sack him.

Interesting that when a British player bets on matches not involving him it's a betting scandal yet when exactly the same happens abroad then it's a match fixing scandal.

It's because a lot of British football fans think foreign leagues are rife with corruption but British football is squeaky clean and we 'always play by the rules'. People often accuse the Italians of being cheats and divers as if English players never cheat or dive. We're as crooked as the rest of them.

Rangers are just looking for a way to bin him. He has been ****e for them and embarrassed himself against Celtic.

On the old firm point it seems half our team are cetic fans! Mayler, snoddy, maloney, marshal and robbo all support them.

Not sure which club is bigger but the atmosphere at Celtic against Man City was unbelivable as was the old firm (only watched 30 odd mins to be fair). From what I see Celtic bigger but rangers historically bigger.

Celtic are the scum of British football with their sectarian bigot fans and largely anti British pro terrorist fan base.

They are consistently in trouble with UEFA about this but for some inexplicable reason seem to get an easy ride from the media here.

Have you ever been to Glasgow?
    The bigotry is about 50/50.

NB You can get an authentic Chicken Tikka Masala in Glasgow.

I thought the recent Palastine flag demonstration was absolutely spot on. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to do a bit of reading.

I'm also not sure you understand the word sictarian, my understanding is that it refers to religious hate not political views (no matter how crude you or I may find them)?

If you want to talk sectarian then with the Glasgow clubs its 6 of one & 2x3 of the other.......with the Protestant Unionist & Catholic Republicans as bad as each other......however having spent a lot of time in Glasgow over the years & going to a few old firm games I would certainly say the Rangers fans are by far the worst bunch of bigoted thugs !!

No I'm not sure I understand the word sictarian either.
I've no interest in Palestine, Israel, Syria or anywhere else in that barmy neck of the woods. I know it's a fractious dump of an area where they all need to get their hole more often, calm down and neck some beer so the rest of the world doesn't have to keep wringing their hands about the unstable, underdeveloped ****hole that it has been turned into by its inhabitants.

Why some soap dodging 'rebels' need to wave the flag baffles me. Was the ref an Israeli?
