That is a real thing of beauty...I wonder how much I'd get for a kidney on the black market? (not one of mine obviously, that would be stupid)

Its not being driven properly unless you're really scrubbing the tyres just before the back end breaks away. No music on, just the windows down listening to the engine really bark as you get near the red line...****ing love Alfas!

Oh I'm not sure.... There's always a time to hang your arm out the window of an Alfa at slow speed.

I was tempted with an Alfa this time when I changed, but I just do too many miles. Now if it was someone else's money like a company car....

Lamborghini Murcielago was my dream car as a kid. I got to drive it on a drive day a few years back and yes it was amazing. Still crazy expensive even though the last one was made in 2010.

Audience figures for Top Gear were 4.4 million. Seemingly, Chris Evans said last week that he'd be very disappointed if they were below five...

And if you think there will be a drop off as well. The show is in for a rocky time.

Lovely weather in Paris, no tennis today at all. Water polo the only alternative.

Now there's a generation thing. My dream cars were a Jaguar E-Type, an Aston Martin BD4, and because I was born at the beginning of the Space Age, A Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, with the split rear window [must be the split rear window]. I've driven the E-Type.

I had them all as Corgi toys. :)

A few years ago I was staying at a B&B in Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire. The landlord was there on his own and suggested that he go into Haverfordwest to get a takeaway, and took me with him in his Stingray which he had restored to perfect condition. Left-hand drive, narrow country lanes, touching 100 mph on the straights and just making it round the bends, I was simultaneously exhilarated and scared stupid! Lovely, lovely car. 7 litres of pure grunt.

I'd settle for a McLaren P1 these days.

I would love to have a driving day with a Bugatti and a Koenigsegg. Drove the Porsche 911 and the Mclaren F1 as part of the Lambo driving day. The Mclaren ****ed up my back.
