A while ago I suggested a possible change to the Rules and ended up virtually defaulting to that posted in the Competition thread. As this is the last Saturday of the month the Rules will come into effect after Saturday. The implications of the new Rule have been illustrated in this week's Competition thread and this is a final chance to have your say as to whether the Rule is implemented as stated or not. Only 4 votes so far and inconclusive as yet. How you restrict your own bets is entirely up to you; so it's really about whether or not you want to restrict the betting pattern of others.
The reason I need to know which option is preferred is that I will need to make the appropriate changes to my system. Until I make the changes the competition and rules will remain exactly as in previous years. Based on our miserable performance this month (so far) it won't make much difference, unless someone has a massive win next month and decides to re-invest it immediately. That doesn't tend to happen until later in the season. So, unless there are at least 5 votes for one option, there will be no changes and the competition will continue as in previous years PS. With one exception. The default bet has been dropped. Any shortfall will be forfeited by being placed as a losing bet.
