Best odds for Wycombe winning the League are 66/1. Interesting that fellow strugglers Northampton are as short as 14/1 and Portsmouth are as short as 8/1. What is going on?

There are 4 teams at 2/1 or shorter to get promoted (Bury, Luton, Portsmouth and Shrewsbury). Wycome stand at a best price of 14/1 to get promotion.

Generally, Wycombe are joint second favourites to go down ranging from 5/1 to 13/2.

Can't see any Betting prospects there.

Here are the current betting odds for League 2.

I hope you realise that had we backed Wycombe to win the league at 66/1 and to get promoted at 14/1 we could now lay them off and make a very good profit. Conversely had we laid Wycombe to get relegated at 5/1 we could now lay off that bet at 80/1 for a fraction of what we would have taken on the lay bet; another good profit.

So much for me not seeing any betting opportunities when the market opened <doh>

Exeter do look the dark horses. We won't win the League - too small a squad and vulnerable to injuries, suspensions and loaned players returning
