One person with allegedly two stickers of teams with tigers on does not diminish the ****itude of the large numbers of rugby fans from Hull who support football clubs from another city.

Don't try and understand the game, its ridiculous and tin pot and followed by mindless morons who live along the M62 and think traveling to Leeds is too far for an away day!

I noticed someone on Twitter yesterday who's an FC and Scunthorpe United fan. How does that happen?

    I
In the sprit of progress, I've made your post more marketable.

There's a strong rumour building that the Allams are looking to buy out FC.

So much tragedy in one life seems so unfair.

As a supporter of both FC and city I truly don't understand how there can actually be hate between people from the same city who happen to support a team in a sport their team doesn't even compete in.

I mean what benefit does one truly get from the failure of another? Just childish at the end of the day.

Don't you think that's because of where you're from though?

I've been going to city since about 97 and fc since 02, and know plenty of other people who go to both.

Hull were crap second half last night, but that bench was never going to compete, 2 half backs, an 18 year old on debut and a prop making his first appearance of the season - not to mention plenty playing busted.

Although they don't scrum anymore its about they still have specific requirements - props are the biggest on the field, they carry the ball and hit hard in the middle, usually in 20/25 minute spells.

Hooker is one of the toughest positions to play, they distribute from the play the ball most tackles, have to take advantage of markers not set and scoot upfield, as well as defending in the middle and making 45+ tackles a game.

I put in on for ten minutes last night and then got bored.

Most cringe worthy moment was all the backward Wessie arsewipes singing Mincing on Together.

    Just **** right off.

The animosity set in when City were struggling in the lower leagues and RL in Hull was enjoying a brief spell of domination.
FC in particular tried to rebrand themselves as 'Hull's premier sports club' They attempted to poach City's sponsors, I know because I was one of them, and everything possible was done by FC to establish themselves as the biggest club in the city.
Topped off by the gloating fc fans who when offered free admission to a vital City game v Brentford turned up and supported the opposition.
Over a very long period of time certain RL fans have rubbished City and football through the letters columns, IAKOW fanzine and via RH.
One example. George Staples, Skidby, frequent knocker of City via the HDM. Never has a good word to say about them. On his drive gates he has a HKR crest on one and Liverpool FC on the other, and he has been writing **** about City for over 20 years.
Multiply that by a hundred and that were the problem lies.
Then add Terry Geraghty and the special treatment given to FC over their rental agreement of the KC by HCC.
