****ing stroll on, brilliant! Tks vm Cyc for clip. This is very funny indeed from the normally stolid Dutch. My daughter was born there btw!
I was watching "Silent Witness" on BBC1, I guess . Missus said she watched the "Tagesschau" but when ZDF said they had an "extra" after it, she thought 'Oh, not another thing about Trump', and switched to another channel. Anyway, she's seen the video now.
When The Donald took Theresa May’s hand on the steps outside The White House, did he think that it was Teresa May the porn star and he was in with a chance of eclipsing Bill Clinton’s record in The Oval Office? Thought you would like this, which featured on the HIGNFY Twitter feed with a caption along the lines of the one I have added: please log in to view this image HM The Queen prepares for the State Visit of Donald Trump
If I've got this right, comedian Billy Birmingham was invited by a radio station to add a bit of colour to a Aussie Rules football game. It seems as though he might have started some kind of tongue in cheek argument with someone in the crowd. People at the game who were listening to the radio call started to take more interest in what they thought was a serious fight. The throwing of chocolates into the crowd was probably a radio free give away thing. Who knows what the truth of the matter is, but it's quite funny. I think this came off an album, so it may have been recorded live. The intro was probably for his album.
Never seen this one before for some reason (acknowledgements to NorwayRanger): "I blew the lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic." Stan Bowles.
Agree, BK, but one should not forget Rodney Marsh. Just a personal opinion, but I think both Bowles and Marsh were just a bit too good for the English national team; i.e. years ahead of their time? Both fantastic players, sadly Stan has Alzheimers but he did take a bow at a Rangers' home game not too long ago, and got a deserved standing ovation. I have his book on the shelf, and the very last sentence in it is, and I quote, "Oh well, I started out with nothing and I pretty well still have most of it left." Whether you like him or not, one of life's real characters.
Forgot Rodney Marsh; probably involuntary memory loss due to some of his more ludicrous comments on late night 'Talksport' interviews. The three QPR funsters along with Frank Worthington and Alan Hudson and their lack of international recognition seemed to this 'outsider' the genesis of England's regression on the world stage from the mid seventies onwards. Other 'leading' European countries (Germany, Italy and The Netherlands) did not flinch from giving caps to some of their more wayward 'sons' during this period. The successes (?) in 1990 and 1996 were based on Gascoigne and other milder 'Mavericks'. As for Scotland; we are in a f*****n' mess both in international and domestic terms. I see continued failure to qualify for 'finals' for at least the next twenty years and Celtic 'walking' the league by twenty or so points for the next ten years. Rangers remain in a financial mess and neither Aberdeen or Hearts can compete. Celtic, with 50,000 to 60,000 every home league match plus £30 million every year they at least reach the group stages of the Champion's League will become even more all powerful and consuming, a sort of extreme FC Bayern situation!
Guilty as charged Kenny - bored stiff at work and came across (not literally of course) Frau ****a on the Tagesschau website
Hope your 'boss' is not tracking your computer use today! I, of course, make no judgement on what you get (it) up to in your open plan (?) work environment! As they say, and possibly still do, in Trump's USA; have a nice day.
