Lot of similarities between Anfield away & 3pt lane away.
Like Spuds, Pool is under tremendous pressure. This is must win for Pool just like Spuds.

Klopp is under tremendous pressure. Unwarranted to some extent. Precious little to separate between Pool & Spuds. Still Poch is title favorite & Klopp isn't??

This will be a huge statement match from us. We have a good chance to put Pool further down.
We need to make use of this. Up the Blues!!


Might consider sitting Hazard TBH.

 

Can't see us winning there to be honest. If we did it would almost certainly end Pool's title chances but can see this going similarly to the WHL game. Hope I'm wrong but the home team that needs the points a lot more is a difficult proposition.

I think we will get 3 points from the next 2 games. 4 would be lovely though.

 

Good call Stan, never seen Spuds as title challengers....to young, impetuous and wrong manager. Together they'll win jax. Can't see hazard being benched but a good call.

 

Don't agree, I think if we start strong and get an early goal the Liverpool lads heads will go down but a win there makes it ours to lose.

 

I don't fancy us in this one but will gladly be proved wrong! Same team as usual, would go with Pedro & Hazard alongside Costa and use Willian from the bench.

Matic and Alonso are giving the ball away too often but otherwise its going to plan, what a strike from Luiz you beauty. Team working hard for each other hope for the best 2nd half.

 

Pity about the penalty miss but would have taken the draw before the game. Other results went our way too.

I know it was a good night (if this was a champions league second leg i'd be buzzing) but its not and i'm not.

Kante' is a fooking machine, what a diamond we have here. To see him perform like he did @90 mins when all other players (except subs) were flagging was amazing. MoM went to Luiz but Kante' was head and shoulders above. That is not saying Luiz was not good he had one of his best games tonight, we can and will play better than this but on the whole and reflecting on what happened to our rivals it has been a very good night. Forza Azure'

 

Can't be too unhappy with a point at liverpool
Piss poor take by Costa, but he's allowed a mistake or 2
Again, no slackers and great effort all round
Luiz and Kante are gems alright, talk about effort. Pool well up for this, never going to be anything but a 90 min arm wrestle

Even after the penalty miss i'd say that's point gained. Spurs and Arsenal both with easy games and neither gain anything on us. Great round of games for us!
