Hernandez received the ball about four times all game. Dropping him on that basis would be bizarre.

Throughout the games with Arsenal and Liverpool we have been starved of possession .. and to some degree against Stoke .. Clucas has done his utmost to stem the flow but we need mobility and a desire to hold onto the ball to give our defence half a chance. Mason will only get better but against a pressing game Thudd is not the option .. perhaps a midfield 5 of Clucas Livermore Mason Snodgrass ànd Henriksen may give the mobility and possession we badly need with Mbokani up front to hold the ball better.. certainly against the likes of the top 6 teams .. Against the so called lessee teams then hopefully we could be more adventurous and play 2 up front .. the one thing we had under Bruce against the bigger teams is that at least we stayed in the game and made it difficult for them to muller us like we have been .. I accept we have been down to 10 from half hour in but even when we had 11 we were getting over run. Time for Micky to show some nowse and get us back on track

I'd drop him on the basis that Mbokani is suited to the role Phelan wants the striker to play and Hernandez absolutely isn't.

Though with no right back, it might be a good idea to go 3-5-2 and play them both.

What you mean don't sit back but an attack instead :emoticon-0104-surpr ,that would surprise a few other teams.

That's not a bad idea, Snodgrass has shown he can track back, but we will have to be really on it to stop Hazard, Willian et al getting in behind.

How very redundant. Maybe i should make comment about you working with children... nudge nudge
Back to football. If memory serves didnt we go 3 at the back last time against Chelsea at home and were getting hammered before switching to 4-4-2? And giving them a really good game?
Hazard ran riot playing against 3 at the back.

Not if you had a single shred of integrity left you wouldn't. Calling somebody a dick sucker is one thing, suggesting what I think you're angling at is piss poor, given the very delicate nature of my profession. You wouldn't stoop to that level, would you?

And yes we did and we found it difficult. But it's more out of circumstance than anything else, unless Lenihan can be fast tracked from injury. Which he probably can't.

Why was there a standing ovation on 27 minutes( I think it was 27 minutes) yesterday?

I know it shouldn't bother me but why read out Celtics score at half time before the rest of the PL?

And the dozy sounding ball bag who reads the scores out called them 'the hoops'.

    ****er.

Don't know about the 27 minute thing but, L'pools first game after the Hillsboro' disaster was at Celtic Park - I believe the Celtic fans were very supportive. The scousers won and the Celtic fans cheered the L'pool goals (+ other weird stuff). There's been a love in ever since.

Liverpool and Celtic fans always sing 'You'll never walk alone' when they play each other.

    It's really awesome actually.

The atmosphere created by the famous Liverpool crowd yesterday was turd.

They only piped up whenever they scored.

    As usual.

Do they do that applause/ standing ovation thing on 27 minutes every single game?
