Always makes me laugh whenever we go to a big club people say the atmos and the home lot dont sing. Its probably cos they dont see us as a big game and its not an important game. Harsh but true.
. No idea. I was at Anfield when we played them in the cup in 99. We lost 4-2, but our lot were fantastic. A group of Scousers shook my Dads hand after the game saying "You were the noisiest fans we've had here in years". Edit: Johnny Eyre scored a beautifully cheeky, chipped penalty...
To be fair Liverpool were ready for us yesterday and whoever Phelan played wouldn't have changed the result. But without doubt the team selection made a difficult task into an Impossible one. I'm surprised at you Chazz you normally are the last to Slag off the manager and his team.phelan started well and at the moment has seemingly made poor decisions.for me it's to early to judge him.
I got that feeling they just couldn't be arsed with us.we have a long way to go before they get excited about playing us
Was that in the League Cup? I thought that was '98? I pointed out John Eyre to my lad as he was collecting the balls and told him that last time I was at Anfield he was playing. He didn't respond, probably because it was quite a boring comment to make. When I say quite , I actually mean very.
It wouldn't be dropping him because of poor form.more because of tactics.Mbokani would do a much better job for us.i.m.o
Last time i went to Anfield i called Francesco Totti a ****. My lad was quite interested. Not so much now as i call everyone a ****. i'm going to have to err do summat to my vocabulary.
My lads or Totti's? I've just realised my lad wasnt there. It was later when i told him the story. A lad i used to work with ran regular trips to see Liverpool, he's actually born and bred Scouser, he had tickets for the Champions League game against Roma so i went. Brilliant atmosphere but Totti literally threw himself to the floor every time he was touched. Think Emily Heskey scored the winner.
It's chilling the way a thread about the match has been hijacked by a poster referencing a convicted paedophile for ' laughs'
Not if he only got the ball four times, he wouldn't. Probably, anyway. We got blown away by Liverpool, but that wasn't down to Hernandez. IMO.
