Looks like we just lost our shirt sponsor (edit: it now looks like we haven't)..

As @SportPesa we will be giving notice to clubs and unions that from January 1 we will withdraw all sponsorships.

It does indeed look like it will only affect Kenyan clubs/federations.

If it does apply to City, the Allams will be rubbing their hands with glee. I'm sure the contract will be watertight and they can get another 6mths of income from someone else as well as 12mths from Pesa.

My son (not the most reliable source of information) says that we will have the WWF (not the wrestling one) on our shirts next season. If so, this is like peak Barcelona when they gave their shirt sponsorship to UNICEF before deciding they were greedy bastards intent on squeezing every single penny out of the club whilst avoiding paying tax. Sounds unlikely but would be excellent if true. I don't know how much it costs to sponsor a clubs shirt in the Championship but I doubt it's a huge amount so maybe Ehab is doing this in an attempt to be popular.

    He's wrong.

The logo is on the shorts somewhere and you can pay to have it on the front of the kids shirts, it's all in yesterday's announcement.
