It's ok Tramore, I've played against El Nino on many occasions. This guy get's less minutes on the pitch than Uncle Ben's Rice does in my microwave...

You can't say you 'played' against me..you never got on. You are the Brian Murphy of your team, only he actually made the bench.

I have a mate who supports Swindon and he reckons this guy is a box to box midfielder. Could be just the sort of signing we need.

This seems like an excellent signing, a young level headed yet confident box to box midfielder, superb. These two signings must be the ones that Ramsey and Co were discussing at the hotel in Leicester. Hence the urgency to get in front of the other rivals who were also vying for their signatures.

A good start by Chris and Sir Les, there's plenty of quality in the lower leagues, just need scouting to find them. As has been said, the doom and gloom lift quickly with good news...

Great signing early into the disappointment of being relegated.
I see Hull have let Liam Rosenior (Leroy's son) and Paul Mcshane 30 and 29 respectively go. A defender and midfielder with points to prove, do we think they are worth a look if the wages were ok?

I note this fella was in the team that beat the Might Hoops in the League cup Aug 13. I don't suppose anyone can remember him can they?

Ahh but for every Ned Zelic we can balance it out with a Alan Border.
OK, it might be cricket but who's counting?

OK, you ask for football????????????? We have Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka, ........... how can we forget Craig Johnston ........... throw in a Mark Schwarzer and hey, don't forget another Aussie keeper, Brad Jones. ................. and so the list goes on.

Nick Ward. Who remembers him? Came to LR with lots of hype and the next top player from Aus.
He was a real let down.
