Perhaps but we'll only know if A) he stops criticising him B) he keeps playing him I really think our priority is a CB and RB. We need to try to develop Shaw, as buying a LB as well is just ****ery tbh.
I just have a horrible sense that many of the top team in the PL will be chasing after the exact same types of player. We need to strengthen in defence and so will City and possibly Arsenal. The same problem with strikers if the rumours are true. With Aguero, Sanchez (Ibra possibly) on the move, we need to act swiftly in the market to capture our targets early. Fortunately, we have the financial clout to go head to head with most - so all the more important that we secure CL football as I suspect that might be a deal maker/breaker for many of the top talents.
I'm not sure about chasing but they will be linked with the same players - half arsed journalism and crappy agents will make sure that the likes of Mbappe is linked with every club with a couple of quid to spend.
For anyone questioning JM's man-management skills - this from Shaw himself - "I had a really good chat with him (after the criticism) and I totally agree with him - I will do whatever he wants. I've always been a hard worker but maybe, if I look back, maybe I wasn't working as hard as he likes. We had a really good talk and he discussed what he wanted from me and even in a week-and-a-half I've seen a massive change in myself, not just on the pitch but off it as well. Now it's my time to fight until the end of the season and show the boss what I can bring to help his team."
It seems the young twat has written something for a book saying how much he loves Poch, how he hopes to play for him again. Let's have the Spuds get danny Rose back up to full fitness and do a swap in the January window.
United's job is a different kettle of fish. As good as Poch is for "Spuds", the same impact cannot be guaranteed if he were at United. I don't regret having Mourinho over Poch whatsoever because we needed someone who had the experience of running a massive organization, not just another club.
