Is he going to make the grade at Celtic?

I had high hopes that when/if Roberts left in the summer, MacKay-Steven would fill his boots but it seems to me that he's continuing to look like a lightweight - I couldn't wait for him to be taken off yesterday and wasn't in the least surprised when he missed two glaring chances that could have made things a lot more comfortable earlier in the game.

I just don't think he will cut it at a big club like Celtic ...

Bags of skill but not the attitude imo ...

Look at Forrest , he's obviously been working hard training and in the gym as well, he looks faster n stronger

GMS should be looking at Forrest and Armstrong as to what can happen if you work hard.

Rodgers may still turn it around for him but I don't see it ...

Looked gassed when he came off.

He's a confidence player. If he tucks away one of his opportunities then he could have gone on to have a stormer.....but he never. As a winger he has to just keep getting on the ball and forgetting about whatever **** ups have gone one before.

Yep, agree with both above - he certainly seems to lack the confidence and determination to keep going no matter what. Don't think I've ever seen such a waif-like footballer - so easily brushed off the ball ... looks like a puff of air could knock him down. He should get into the gym and push a few heavy weights around to give him some upper body strength (and maybe borrow Rogic's heavy boots while he's out!). Seems he's the only player who looked to have potential talent but has yet to respond positively to Rodgers. If we can see it, obviously Rodgers can ...

Meh...you only seem to get a game if youve earned it, so he must be doing something right.

If he is doing something right on the training ground, he certainly hasnt been bringing it to the game proper ... as yet anyway.

Maybe he needs to game time to get up to his best. He seems to be doing the right things just not match sharp.

No-one would be happier than me to see him establish himself as an ideal replacement for Roberts, if/when he leaves. The way he is so easily brushed off the ball and his seeming lack of determination to keep going, up to now, however, just makes me wonder if he's got what it takes to make it.
