DH, for future reference, why not make the game thread password controlled and pm the password to the contestants, would save any interference from troublesome binners!

Oh, if I'm doing a new thread each "day", then it's not worth it -too much effort for brb. I'll just reserve the right to delete any comments from non-players. I think that's fair.

Surely you only need one thread for all to post on, anything else will be PM!

It may be worth asking brb if we can do it ourselves!

When I've ran this on the F1 board, I've had a separate thread for each "Day", but yeah, it wouldn't be that difficult to do in one thread, true.

Please don't, I enjoy following the development of this game, besides my bet's on Guru, who was hired as an external contractor by the two killers. The motive is blatent - one less budgie!

You're painting a Guru with a modicum of intelligence! That's your theory blown out of the water!

Currently, it's 4 votes for gruffnuts!

Gruffnuts, you've got until the end of today to defend yourself, otherwise you'll be strung up my the mob! If gruffnuts says anything to make you change your mind, could you please edit your original post to reflect it, rather than posting afresh.

    Also rans:
    1- Cryuff's Turn
    1- Hucks for Manager

    (I don't think I've missed any)

Well seeing as no defence is forth-coming, I think it's time we wrapped this one up.

As the gang sat down for dinner at the end of a long, nervewracking day, tensions were high as everyone was aware that they could be sat alongside poor Maestro's killer. Still, it was a lovely night, and Yellowlittle had managed to find a table on a balcony, at a delightful little local restaurant called Hooters. As everyone tucked into burgers, pizzas, etc the conversation ground to a halt, and everyone looked awkwardly at each, trying to figure out who would be capable of cold-blooded murder.

At the end of the table, gruffnuts was playing with a knife, throwing it a little way up in the air and catching it as it span. He had a strange smile on his face whilst he was doing it, completely oblivious to the stares he was getting from most of the group.

"Well if that's not suspicious, I don't know what is" said Hucks for Manager.
"What? I just like knives" replied gruffnuts.

That just made the group mad, someone at the other end of the table quietly said "I'm not happy spending a night in the hotel with someone with a thing for knives..."

And with that, the group almost simultaneously set on gruffnuts, picking his chair up, and throwing him and it over the edge of the balcony.

As he fell, gruffnuts last words were: "You've got it wrong!!!"

For poor gruffnuts was nothing but a simple fan.

With that, the group quickly left the scene of the crime and returned to the hotel, ready for another sleepless night...

That's the end of day 1, so night has fallen. Please could those who need to please PM me the name of who they want to kill/save/investigate. In the meantime, this thread will be locked until Day 2 begins. If you want to talk about the game (but please no accusations, etc), the discussion/sign-up thread would be the place to go. gruffnuts, unfortunately, being dead you can no longer contribute to any efforts to unmask the killers.

    PMs!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is not supposed to take a week each "night". The idea is to have the chance to play several games over the summer if people want, not drag one game out for months!

I've re-opened the thread, so if anyone wants to try and guilt-trip the slackers into getting a move on, you're welcome.
