It's not just about them keeping the ball it's about us giving it away. For a reasonable amount of the first half we kept the ball, but then that withered away. They didn't look that good in the first half at least but Elmo's gift really helped them.
Burns interview with Marco Silva. He's lucky as the local reporter that he gets the chance. He hasn't learnt that MS doesn't answer what he doesn't want to answer, and yet, at the Friday interview he asked about his personal contract and he said 'now is not the time'... today he asked 'is it right there is an option for you to stay' and an already pissed off it seems Marco Silva said 'this is not the time' and then Burns parting shot 'i'll ask you again during the week Marco'. He never got anything out of Bruce or Phelan so he;s not going to get anything out of Marco Silva. He should stick to asking local ladies about tomatoes.
He had Navas and Sterling to deal with as Grosicki wasn't tracking back. A Man City tactic of pushing those two forward down the wing with Delph covering RB. Robbo didn't stand a chance without help.
Elmo is looking like our weak link at the moment. I should be a pundit. Drinking Magners in the sun has made me feel dizzy. Wheres my tea?
No shame today - they're a lot better than us - 3 1 wasn't that bad really - move on to Stoke when we should have a chance
People talking about Stoke away as if it's a real opportunity. Do we really have much of one? They're a very good side and it's a place we never do well at. Add to that our away form is abysmal. I'm not expecting anything.
I t I think you're bang on . People on here underestimating them and they complain when other fans and pundits doing that to us. 5 points away all season suggests a point would be a fantastic result.
I don't really know why people have a problem with it , I bet on all sorts on a City game , first scorer , correct score , whatever Gamble on whatever you want as long as you can afford to lose
Must say when Marco arrived and Elmo was away at the Africa Nations Cup I hoped we had finally seen his last appearance at RB. Hard to believe he's still getting a game there. Meyler did a good job there when he played.
I'm not too disappointed by the result today, I was slightly disappointed that we didn't start with the same team as last week, we were on a roll imo, but I'll get over that. Onwards to Stoke next week and I do think it is a game we can get something from, especially with Marco at the helm. We might not have had much away, but we've not been as far away as the points suggest, there's opportunity for more points away from home. Results went our way today.
Oh yes, what a numpty I am. I meant start with Hernandez and Niasse, was just a preference for me, that's all.
