Halloween is upon us as the Chairboys look to put their nightmare month without a win behind them with a trip to Field Mill against the Stags and this game will be anything but a party with two tight defences on display and it's not likely to be pretty either as both teams average less than 1.5 goals a game and when you add in the fact that the Stags have the worst disciplinary record in the football league there's likely to be more tricks than treats on display. With Captain Paul Hayes back playing and scoring Gaz only injury concerns are with Matt Ingram who is likely to miss out with Alex Lynch keeping his place between the sticks and long term absentee and Anthony Stewart who was kicking a ball about during half time last Saturday looking well on his way to returning to the action maybe some time next month. This is a game that is far too far north for me to get to went I have to work in the morning so it will be Player and Soccer Saturday for me expecting a bore draw but hoping we can get back to winning ways COYB
Will be my first game of the season this, not managed to get to any so far due to uni & family commitments, anyone else traveling up? I was planning to go with Jose but annoyingly he can't make it, so am making the trip from Leicester by myself. Hopefully it's more a more exciting fixture than last season, if it hadn't been for the cold I think I'd have dozed off
Bloody hell i'd forgotten what a win feels like I can watch Football League Tonight without holding my head in my hands when our game comes on.
Well done Wycombe. If we win our game in hand we could, potentially (and I stress potentially) go 3rd
A good result away to a side above us in the league. We will have two games in hand in a couple of weeks.
Congrats to you and family Rocky. Nice to see somebody getting priorities right and organising the day when the team is away......
Coming on nicely mate if we can have him for the rest of the season you may have a another young defender to sell on for silly money
