Stressed about parking, is anyone driving and park/ride? Was thinking Hounslow?

Hell of a front 4 you've got there.

Think we might get overwhelmed in midfield with that line up though. I'd go

    -----------------Forster
    Soares-----Yoshi------Stephens----Bertrand
    ----------JWP-------Romeu------Davis
    -------Redmond---Gabbiadini----Tadic

    Boufal on the bench.

My formation wasn't sensible and would definitely be overrun in midfield against Man Utd; it is a formation that would bring the best out of our attackers though.
Yours is much more realistic and is how I'd expect us to play. Boufal on the bench is also wise seeing the uncertainty over his fitness/injury.

I'm expecting Claude to surprise us all. If we know one thing about him by now, it's that he does his own thing.

    I like this line up.

Another big question for Claude, as well as who starts, is who misses out completely?

Assuming that lineup, players who'd hope or expect a place on the bench would be

Hassan, Caraces, Martina or McQueen, Clasie, Hojbjerg, Long, JRod, Boufal, Sims
That's too many! Someone's going to miss out completely....

We're gonna need a bigger bench.

I had the misfortune of attending the England v Portugal game last summer before the Euro shambles. Didn't really know the best thing to do re transport but eventually stumbled on various legit websites where people hire out space on their driveways.

Not a new concept, but you shop around, pre book and print out a qr code to display, then you just roll up on the day.

Some ask for crazy money, some more reasonable. Think we parked within 10 mins walk of Wembley on one of the main routes out for £7.

Loads of companies do it, so shop around.

(Was actually the best bit about the day, anyone who remembers that game will know why!!)

I often do this. I've done Wembley, the Olympic Stadium, Arsenal and Spurs. All within about 10 minutes walk and reasonably cheap.

JRod may regret his minor tantrum/attitude now, ironic if it costs him a place in the final squad. I'd certainly put Long and Sims ahead of him now.

Just realised you said Jay not JWP:oops: As for Jay, a one off annoyance at not getting on will mean very little if his general behaviour is good. However, he is our third choice striker all things being equal....though he will get on in some EPL matches as part of the rotation system..

Thanks, will keep my options open and play it with ears. Not too fussed about the cost just want my car to be safe and hassle free.
After the awful coach trip to emirates and back I'm keen to avoid traffic.

    I would play;
    Forster
    Cedric Stephens yoshi Bertrand
    Romeu Davis
    Jwp Tadic. Redmond
    Gabbadiani

Bench: new keeper, cacares, martina, hojoylberg, sims, long, boufal.

Shame some will miss out but this is not about sentiment, it's about the best 11 +7 on the day.

Cacares if 100% fit and has impressed in training, in for Stephens?

I'm almost tempted to suggest 3 at the back to combat ibrahimovich, although we only have 3 CB's.

Looking forward to the drive. Just like the JPT, half the cars will be carrying red and white scarves, hats, etc.
