    Only 12 points away <laugh>

I hate Villa ........ they're keeping the Mags off the bottom!

  9. Hey, lads, I've been shut out of the Toon match-day thread for calling it like it is! All I did was point out to them that NUFC are an embarrassment to the Prem and will be better off being relegated (again), and they took the right hump! I also had a little light banter about them being turned over by the bloke who they all hounded out of the club, and none of them was prepared to laugh with me!

Anyway, it's good to see you boys trampling over the Toon corpse to haul yourselves out of the relegation zone. It's fashionable for fans to take the piss out of Big Sam, but I've always believed that he is a far better tactician than most people give him credit for. I think you are very lucky to have him, and I am sure he will keep you in the Prem.

Very solid performance, limited Stoke to one real chance. For a while I thought we weren't scoring but two cracking goals. It's still baby steps but all of a sudden we are out of the bottom three. Hats off to Big Sam. He clearly knows his stuff. Good use of formation, got players playing, he seems tactically aware. I'm actually enjoying watching us. Watmore the cherry on the cake. He created Stoke all kinds of problems with his energy, willingness to run and be brave. Two tough away games coming up our next two home games are crucial.

Back to back wins, Arsenal are bang in trouble next week!

Sam does it again, played the right tactics, we kept a clean sheet and he is using the Dunk the right amount at the moment. It's amazing what a manager who knows what he is doing can do. I think we have a chance at a draw against Arsenal.

Got to say Defoe looked very sharp until he got injured, I am sure he would have got a goal today had he not gone off. All positive going forward.

he starts on the bench next week too for me. I love watmore. Exciting player but needs to manage himself better during the game as he runs like hell. Gets himself tired out.

Great performance today. Could easily have had at least one penalty on another day but two very good goals and a very solid game had by all. M'Vila is so next level it's terrifying. Amazing player. Would love to be signing him. Think he's destined for bigger things.

Cracking result, great game plan v. well executed.

B2B is great. we can really build on this now, as i think we have the right man to get us through the next tough away fixtures and climbing the league.
