A great many wanted Tom dropped, he finally was and we looked much better.

That's a far better indicator than any stats.

The fact that our next game is against Bristol is largely irrelevant, as Meyler's out until next year and we can't play Bristol every week.

We've got plenty of midfield options and none of them are rubbish, Huddlestone, Maloney or Diame could all come in, this is just about which option is most likely to have the least impact on the way we play overall and I think that's Hayden.

As an added bonus, it improves the chances of him remaining for the rest of his loan and we will have further injuries between now and the end of season, along with a reasonable chance that we'll lose Diame in January.

My money is on Bruce switching Clucas into the middle, where he did well earlier this season, and playing Maloney on the left.

Maloney and Robertson have linked up well at City and know each other's games from International football.

Clucas' energy (my lad calls him Glucose) is formidable and he's got a goal in him. I'm not sure Hayden could offer the same high intensity for 90 mins.

Snodgrass is left footed, although admittedly he has played RM more often where he cuts inside a lot.

The game's all about opinions but there's only one that matters and that's the big fella with the bent nose...

Huddlestone back in the team, and City back to how they played at the start of the season.

No surprise really. To most anyway.

Agreed. He's made Akpom and Dave play **** and all the defence make silly challenges.

He slows us down. Makes us a much worse team.

I said it would happen, it has, no surprises.

You're wasting your Champ. Manager skills posting on this board - you should be sat in a Premier League dugout, Jose's job will be up for grabs soon, get your name down for it.

You don't need UEFA coaching badges to see that Huddlestone slows us down, you just need eyes.

You don't watch games, you critique them - you wait for a stray pass, or a mishit shot (hopefully by Huddlestone) then you come on here whinging about it; thank **** you're at home watching and not sat in the stand with your blanket and flask, pissing and whining and tutting .......... you pathetic, ****ing no nowt, no-mark ****.

    <laugh>

Or I praise those who I think have played well and criticise those who I think played poorly.

This is only the third league game I've missed this season, never tutted or whined, support the team at the game and say what I think afterwards.

I shan't resort to tedious name calling as you have, ****.

The boy David was missed. No way that little puffy looking **** would have been so busy with Meyler playing.
    Huge mistake Brucey.
Hayden every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

It was a poor decision, Hayden was the obvious replacement, I don't think resting Hernandez was a great idea either, Akpom's next to useless up front on his own.

We all know Bruce has his favourites and always has had, Haydn and Maloney don't fit into that category.
