There were 20000 City fans at the last home game. Pretty poor to have that opinion of OAP's and children as well as adults dont you think? Are they all Allam apologists for going to support their team?
Like I have said on a number of occasions, its got nothing to do with money or balance sheets its to do with my principals and the allams, end of.
Chazz, you know and I know that last season we lost over 5000 regular pass holders. The season before, because of the 30 per cent increase for a lower standard of football, many more made the decision to pack in. I know that in the pub where I went before games there were about 14 of us who got together before matches and out of them 3 renewed. These are lads that have been going with their passes for years. Because of promotion we will always inherit 4-5000 who only come to see the big teams. We havnt sold out on any home game yet and I doubt that we will. Its all down to the allams and their spite. Would you rather have had a stadium full of Hull City fans or would you just accept that the Prem always has its just Prem followers and not fans?
My point is highpeak is calling anyone who goes to City a cock swallower. Thats not on. Not who goes. Of course its the PL followers but there are still plenty of long term fans still going and have renewed their passes/memberships. I couldnt agree more the membership scheme is a disgrace. I'm sorry you dont go anymore.
It's important to keep in perspective who we should really be angry with - Ehab Allam. Remember, he was the one who forced Brucie out in the first place, a disrespectful and undignified end. He created the situation. He then failed to convince a series of other managers to sign up here, so we're left with what we have - Phelan. No one else wants it. We're PL, so you gotta ask yourself why - that's Ehab Allam again. We should be thankful to MP, he's achieved 7 points this season in this tough start, firstly with no squad, and only at the last possible moment did he get one. Ehab forced Bruce out. Ehab failed to get a replacement. Ehab let MP limp through to the end of the window with only 13 players. Ehab appears incapable of getting a takeover deal over the line. I expect the old man has failed along the way with this stuff too, but golden boy's running it isn't he. He can't even convince slimeball bottom feeder James Mooney to stay put. So I think I've kept the true enemy in sights. Pretending MP is the problem is just insincere, tedious & childish.
While that can all be true. Ehab didnt put Mbok on the bench. He didnt set us up to defend in our 6 yard box. He didn play Hudd in a game he shouldnt have played in. We lost and didnt even have a go because of Mike Phelan, no one else.
He's gotta accept it though hasn't he, he didn't manage to get anyone better in. PS, anyone having trouble typing stuff in on here? The words are coming out in slo-mo for me in the box.
Absolutely. The poor transfer budget will have put off managers no doubt. But Phelan is here and he hasnt a clue what to do. Their investment is going to be ****ed by the end of October I reckon.
