Mike Williamson will never leave

We have signed one quality cb but we really did need another one. Our pre season has been a bit of a shambles and I can't recall a game where we played at full strength. Wtf is going on with colo.

 

As you say, two people to blame and neither take to the pitch.

I see no point whatsoever in blaming the players.
If they're not good enough, it's not their fault that they're continually playing.

 

It's like a mantra, we have to keep reminding ourselves it's just not Saylor or Willo's fault that they play. Three players just isn't enough, it never was. They talked of 6 before the window, we're sat with 3. Austin won't be coming, I don't think, but its defenders we need - however, Charnley/Ashley's model means we're full of "purples" so won't buy until we sell. Which we can't.

I don't get it - we're still utterly hamstrung by the senior management, I can't understand why anyone thinks things have changed?

 

They are to blame for lots of things but out on the pitch it's Colocini, Williamson & Taylors job to defend, which they are hopeless at.

 

But everyone knows this, hence they should not be at a premier league club. It's not even complicated.
