Wow what a great away result for Town. They haven't won against Millwall since the early sixties.

Toney sounds like he was playing well up front and had more awareness of the team around him. Leutwiler made some good saves and there were a few goal line clearances too. Perhaps we were lucky to have not conceded but how many times in the recent past has luck not gone our way.

McGivern picked up a knock, so there will be some concerns over his fitness. However the main thing is the confidence boosting effect of getting a win and that we can possibly overtake some of the opposition.

We might've upset/pleased a few spread betters too.

I know one wallie that was giving it large when brighton beat us last night and that was the first of his sixfold. Told him you would beat his team to ruin his weekend. All the others came in. <laugh>:emoticon-0148-yes:<cheers>

Our best result of the season and (Fleetwood performance apart) Hurst has tightened the team up and got them scrapping and given us a shout of surviving. Three points away from the relegation zone with Bury in free fall and the three others in the zone not in any sort of form is a much more promising situation than we were in a month ago. If there is some good recruitment in January (a centre half, a striker and a centre-mid) we have a real chance.
