An unlikely operatic production based on Sunderland A.F.C.s annual battle to avoid playing Dirty Leeds starts tonight at Sunderland Minster (7:30 kick off) seems to be very popular It sounds like a right load of ****e to me
The funiest poster on here by far. His posts often go unnoticed as there isnt that many of them. ****ing cracks me up does bbp. I read a thread on smb yesterday. It was titled Bloody owls. I clicked on it thinking someone was gonna be moaning about a noisy bird. But no. Bloody owls. How you they have a knack if keeping eye contact with you when you put them in the microwave. In nearly pissed myself laughing. And wondered in it was bbp on another forum.
Just checked. I got the right church, just the wrong name, Comm. It's St. Michaels & All Angels & St. Benedicts. Memories playing tricks with me! Edit: Became a Minster when Sunderland was made a city, in 98.
I was just curious as ive never heard of anything on the south side being associated with monkwearmouth.
Just edited last post. Monkwearmouth Church is St Peters, down near the Glass Centre, north bank of the Wear. Beautiful little ancient church. Now here's an admission of awful ignorance. I had no idea Monkwearmouth was just the north side of the river And me born right smack in the middle of town!
