Considering I've admitted fairly regularly that I was wrong to suggest he wouldn't hit double figures, I'm really not sure why this continues to be used as a point scoring exercise.
It's probably because you were so adamant that he wouldn't and he couldn't have proved you more wrong.
He's scored 16 PL goals, let's not make out that he's scored 25 and made my tally of 10 look ridiculous. He's done a bit better than I expected though.
It is easy to sometimes forget that MOTD midweek has only a short time between the end of a game to it being broadcast. So do they pre-select a player to highlight for the pundits to talk about. Last night it was Gibson in our game, what a load of bollocks of a choice it was too.
The problem is the pundits on MOTD stick up for their mates and people they like. So despite Gibson playing badly, they just called him unlucky.
The linseman was stood near the corner flag nowhere near in line with the decision he needed to make. Even saying that he should have seen the player stood infront of Jak. **** from them. It could be sorted within seconds. With a video ref.
I noticed that the lino was standing by the corner flag and was not in line with the player who headed it in. TBH maybe Oliver should have twigged that the Mbro player was standing beyond the last City player. In fact there may have been two of theirs beyond City's last player. All in all a serious mistake for which the lino and Oliver should receive a bollocking, but in all likelihood, knack all will be said...Its only Hull City...Who gives a £uck?
