I thought that because of the two weeks off and the transfer window coming to a climax, we might get an inform Harry.....I was mistaken...
It would be fascinating to have a body language expert analyse this - he seems very much on the defensive - not offering much more than a yes/no and really not volunteering much. I get the impression he is really not happy with things at the club - little comments, for example no mention of Sako as being a top player - and with Les doing the enquiry not him might suggest he feels his position at the club is reduced to coach trainer, not responsible for recruitment - maybe he feels he has lost TFs ear regarding bringing players in. I could be getting it all wrong - nevertheless he seems very flat.
Interesting to note that we're going to be training up at St George's Park. I wonder who wrangled that? A scouting trip to get ideas for Warren Farm perhaps??
He suffers f He suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder. Usually kicks in in June, carries on until the end of May. Haven't watched this as it's bad for my serenity, sounds like the usual.
I think you're getting it right. More the ancient, wistful philosopher than dynamic leader. I suspect internally, more control has been moved to Hoddle and Les Ferdinand at the owner's insistence than has been made clear publicly. Futhermore, the fact that Harry is limited to loans in, signals that the owners realise that a new manager in the summer will want his own players. A tacit vote of no confidence.
Thanks for posting this...always enjoy Harry's pressers. Not sure how people want him to come across or say in these things....Harry is Harry. That's how he is. Doesn't mean he doesn't care or lacks any motivation. Just my take on it any way.
Remember people getting upset because Harry doesn't show any emotion on the touchline and dugout. That's just how he is, isn't it. Doesn't mean he doesn't care.
