Looks as if Chris Parkes has put out a statement overnight, no doubt crafted by the Clubs PR Dept. It only goes half way - doesn't address the issue of Sue Parkes being allowed to represent the Club & constantly publicly criticise the fans. She only gets the abuse that Chris claims she receives because of this. Also, no mention of Tony Parkes behaviour this week including comments about fans having AIDS and our ex manager being a "c*nt" I notice Tony has deleted his Twitter account.
Chris Parkes has technically apologised for Sue. ie apologies for any offence caused. No apology from Sue herself, and no mention of their feisty offspring. I reckon it's high time to ignore these people, and it would be great if Sue would back way off and abandon her 'unofficial Katrien mouthpiece' stance, but as her husband has made a rather weak apology on her behalf, it seems unlikely.
The "blood, sweat and tears" bit was nauseating. So was the "I couldn't have done it without her" Done what exactly ? His job ?
One more match with anti perks chants will see him sacked and her banished from the boardroom. From what I read i doubt they would ever pay in so you wont see them again... Now is not the time to sit on your hands, one last push... With them out of the way the smt are firmly in the glare of fan power.
SMT Q & A Katrien stated she loves the club and has no plans to leave. She believes she can lead a turn around of fortunes #cafc
SMT Q&A 'on loan players (e.g. Sa) need to be seen by KR before Karl & I decide what happens to them'#cafc
Squabbling over who takes a penalty. Not the worst thing that can happen, but indicative of a lack of discipline in the team. It must be Jackson's call who takes it. If JFC took the pen with JJ's permission then fair enough. If he took it regardless of his Captain's wishes then he needs a lesson in discipline. Not being there, I can't comment on why the fans might have reacted as they did. But on the face of it, there seems to be something that needs sorting out regarding that penalty. It's a good thing the result was not affected. Hopefully some more details will emerge soon to clarify matters... (apologies for straying a bit off-topic)
Parkes just can't help herself It must have been hard to hear the booing with her head up Meire's arse at the same time
