Thought about some new songs - we only had one pre-Pearson era player on the field Vs QPR, so not many players have songs.

Had a little think, you might think they're rubbish, but they're better than nowt - people can add to the thread with their own.

Thought one for Ant Gerrard, as many have said, he's potential captain material if he sign's full time, so let's show him our appreciation:

    To the que-sera-sera tune...

    Ant-Gerrard-Gerrard!
    He's big n' he's Scouse n' he's hard
Who the f**k is Steve Gerrard?
    Ant-Gerrard-Gerrard!

To the same tune, in reference to Vito's 'I like Hull, it's at the seaside' comments:

    Vito 'Stallone' Mannone!
He's more Italian than Al Capone
He likes the seaside and a flake in his cone
    Vito 'Stallone' Mannone

Saw this next one as a comment on Twitter, so not sure if it's been sung yet, but for Fryatt...

To the tune of ' I predict a riot':

    I predict a Fryatt!
    ...I predict a Fryatt!
    I predict a Fryatt!
    ...I predict a Fryatt!

For Aaron McLean, to the tune of the Adam's family:

    Aaron McLean! clean! clean!
    Aaron McLean! clean! clean!
    Aaron McLean!
    Aaron McLean!
    Aaron McLean! clean! clean!

    Do the congo...

Do do doo... super Robert Koren!
do do doo... super Robert Koren!
    ...and so on.

    ----------------------------------------------

So, we play Leeds on Tuesday night - and they seem to lack in geographical knowledge - already had many Leeds fans saying Hull is in Humberside - yeah, ok ...champions of Europe and Humberside... I thought Leeds was meant to be a 'modern' city - sounds like they're all living in the past.

No doubt we'll get chants of 'Yorkshire! Yorkshire!' chanted at us (retards - obviously know no history either. Hull and York made Yorkshire what it is for about 750+ years before Leeds even became anywhere of note because a load of Southern bankers who couldn't get jobs in the financial sector in London decided to move North to get one)...

So, hope to hear the 'East! East! Yorkshire!' chant out in full force on Tueday night - it only seems to be used at away games for some reason.

Other chants to throw at them?

"You're just a town full of bankers! town full of bankers!"

"You're going back to your lego! back to your lego!"

to the tune of 'that's why your going down'
'back to mechano town! back to mechano town! back to mechano town... back to mechano town'.

as like sheep they'll try sing a song about Hull being a 'sh1tole' as most uninspiring away fans do... to the same tune, we should respond with:
'that is called irony! that is called irony! that is called irony... that is called irony!'

    and to 'wanna go home'...
"Oh f**k off back home! oh f**k off back hoooome!
This is the King's Town, so f**k off back home!'

...and to use the old Big Jan of Hessle Road tune again:
"Why do all the c**ts come from Leeds?
Why do all the c**ts come from Leeds?
    Why do all the c**ts
    Why do all the c**ts
Why do all the c**ts come from Leeds?"

    any more?

feel free to pass em about to other City fans.

I think it'll be a while until, we start to hear new songs, unless you can get a group of 10 or so people sat around you to sing along.

I do like the Rober Koren one though.

I assume that the best way to get new songs going are by singing it on a coach on the way to away games. If a few people together get it going on the coach, most people on the coach will probably get it going in the game.

yeah and the atmospheres generally better at away games with people willing to sing nearer each other, ive heard people singing the same song for 15 minutes at half time to get it into peoples heads, works though!

Think I'd prefer it closer to Ashbee's:

Oh Corry Evans, he's neither here nor there,
Oh Corry Evans, he's ****ing everywhere,
Oh Corry Evans, I want curly hair too

(I like the curly hair part, keep that) ;)

How come we don't hear the generic chants anymore?

Even the east stand's gone pretty quiet.. there's no EIEIEIO, Silverware we don't care, the Tigers, we love you city, come on city, Pearson give us a wave, etc etc

I know these are occasionally heard (maybe once every three matches each) but with one defeat in 13 you'd think we'd have more to shout about.

we cant have the same words to a song as the greatest captain that has ever taken to the field. It would be disrespectful to ashbee,so we will have to have new words
