You get the warm feeling of knowing that you're helping The FA get that little bit closer to paying off the grossly-inflated construction bill for their beloved White Elephant.

im surprised there's no word about how the project is doing against programme.

everyone on there must be on confidentiality agreement that has a very painful remedy.

In the 4 weeks since the Man Utd game, the shell of new WHL is
well beyond the boundaries of old WHL (the Pac man will soon
    be closing its mouth :) ) .

Anyone else trying to place exactly where Archway Sheet Metal used to be? I think that gantry is standing directly over it.

I can barely look at it. Part of my soul will abide forever on the half way line of the shelf. Still, it's not the same since the seats went in. Sorry kids. Standing was better, much, much better.

That said, the steepness and height of the new North Stand is thrilling. See......old dog and new trick.

Sad, but a golden cockerel phoenix is rising from its ashes.

Where the Spurs players of the future will be setting foot,
I once stood, and Tony Parks once saved a penalty.
Not my WHL but WHL still.

Theres a bit of roof on, surely it's about time that they put the cockerel back on in it's rightful position.

The funny thing is that, even though it's a sunny day, there's still more people in the stands of WHL than there are in Croydon's BOXPARK...

Images posted on the Official Site today that show the East Stand has been demolished. I won't put them up here as seeing it once was plenty for me. It seems to be well ahead of the stated 3 months estimated for the demolition. Let's hope that all is done in advance of the start of 2018/19. Two years at Wembley would be unbearable. Chelsea are looking at a minimum of four years to build the Egg Slicer.

And another 4 years to build the filtration unit that will lower
the "rotten egg" smell coming from the place, to acceptable
    elf n safety levels.

Plus another year to fully segregate the John Terry Stand into 'whites' and 'non-white' sections.

Note there were still seats at the far end of the stand
that have not been removed as the demo crews piled in
(good luck getting your seat in one piece if you were a
    ST holder there) .
