Thought I'd attempt to summarise the value of our transfer spending so far using the general estimates floating around: In Josh Brownhill - Free Diego De Girolamo - Free Ivan Lucic - Undisc. Hordur Magnusson - £2m Taylor Moore - £1.5m Callum O'Dowda - £1.2m Gary O'Neill - Free Jamie Paterson - £1m Johnny Smith - £500k (complete guess but it surely can't be more) Lee Tomlin - £2.2m (ish) Total - £8.4m Out Kieron Agard - £1m Luke Ayling - 750k Yannick Bolasie (sell-on) - £4m approx Jonathan Kodjia - £8.5m (approx profit after sell-on) Derrick Williams - 750k (guess again but based on Ayling value) Total - £15m So that's a total profit of £6.6m, perhaps knocked down to £6m once you account for undisclosed fees and tribunals. I think it's safe to assume that we were happy to spend all of the money we already have spent, even if we kept Kodjia, so potentially we could be looking at a £10m+ signing for our new striker, assuming they want to come. So who will it be? Jordan Rhodes? Britt Assombalonga? Martyn Waghorn? John Akinde? Bas Savage? Could be a very exciting 24 hours. I can't ever remember enjoying deadline day with City!
I was in Starbucks in the mall and the person said his name to the cashier it was either "Jordan" "Britt" or "Nahki" something like that
A pretty good summer of activity by most previous year's efforts and we put some decent money in the bank so who can complain? Being a greedy old fart makes me wonder is there some icing on the cake to come?
THE OTHER THING TO NOTE IS THE TEAM WILL BE HAVING THE SAME OPINIONS AS US like what happens if Wilbs or Tammy gets injured! YOU MIGHT FIND TOMMO was £3m with a sign on fee?
