After Leeds went out the competition by being drawn first against Liverpool, a home draw against Newcastle was the best possible outcome. I believe we can beat them.

I'd revert back to one up top. It would be madness to leave ourselves wide open at home. This is Newcastle after all not Sunderland.

I fear it won't be much of a home advantage, all those empty home seats will be filled with an incoherent jawdee.

Tragic that we're even discussing such a thing.

    Yep.

Would have been same with the vermin, Manchester or LFC though.
    Maybe even WHU or Arsenal.

As the 3 are Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester Utd it's not an inaccurate comment.

Is this the first time we have played them in the cup since Rush knocked us out at their place?

    Looking forward to the game.

Would have preferred a home draw but if away would prefer you lot. Don't fancy Leeds away in a midweek game. Nothing to do with football that.

We are playing well at the moment but obviously playing in the Championship so will be interesting to see how we fare against a PL team.

We took 5900 to Barnsley recently midweek and are taking 5600 to Preston this weekend. If you want to give us 9000 tickets there's a decent chance we'll sell them.

Pleased we didn't get West Ham as more trouble at "their" ground again tonight.

Diame will be pummelling us with long shots. Be good to see Hayden back as well, under used last season.
