    Going to have to rest a few with so many games. Mitrovic, Murphy and Diame will cause more of a problem for their CBs and CMs than the last line up. Attacking fullbacks for width. 3-0. Job done.

    Newcastle are so hard to predict this season. Add into that the fact that this is a cup game, which we don't know how seriously Rafa and the players are going to take, means I have no bloody idea how this is going to go.

    Totally agree.

    I blame it on the mods with the exception of Sebb. They're crooked and Sunderland fans in disguise. I would give more powers to Sebb to unilaterally control things.

    Sebb's match day thread was like a breath of fresh air especially in comparison to the other match day threads this season.

    Surely Anita should start if he's missing the next 3 games? And Colback more than likely too.

    Should be able to put a decent team out....I remember a few years ago we'd always put out a second string, and the "Pele of Rotherham" Haris Vuckic would usually make his only appearance of the season, no wonder we never got far...
