Mitrovic is too slow and not good enough to make up for it in other departments for the English game it's really as simple as that

I don't think Rafa is that gone on him, and I don't think he has forgotten his thuggish behaviour against Spurs too easily.

Quite. Suddenly Gouffran is a world beater and had been 'unpardewed'. When in fact he is now just playing at the level everyone has been saying for the last few years he should be at. Our team/squad isn't very good at all but we will probably get promoted because like I have said for months the standard in the Championship is generally very poor.

At what level of the English game though? I think the jury is certainly out at premier league level but in this league I think he'll be pretty effective.

Maybe but still see him being too slow personally

Lots of the big guns drawn together too. We're not going to win it, but it's wide open for a good run.

As long as he players don't think we're already in the last 8. I'm sure Preston will be thinking it's not a bad draw either compared to what they could have had.

Couldnt be a better draw for us really if we have intentions of trying to go further.

Three home draws in a row doesn't hurt the finances either, especially this year with no PL TV money

I would imagine 35,000 at £10 adults/£3 concessions (less 20% VAT) and a bit of revenue from beers and pies, less the stadium overheads, wages, cost of policing and cost of ambulance services probably leaves the club with a modest profit (hopefully) in all fairness. Home draws are about us finally getting to watch a few cup games after an unfair share of away draws over the last few seasons. Unless we get a televised game, of course, then it will be a decent profit.
