Next Seasons Prediction League

Ah, picture the scene. Its the final round of fixtures. Sneyd Park are top of the league, Clifton St Vincents are second. If Sneyd failed to win their game and Vincents were to win theirs then Vincents would win the title.
Vincents duly win their game. Sneyd are 1-1 against Retainers when they are awarded a penalty. However it is then noticed that a few minutes earlier Sneyd had made a substitution BUT nobody had been removed so they had in fact won the penalty with 12 men on the pitch. The Ref therefore disallows the penalty and awards a free kick to Retainers. The game finishes 1-1, Vincents are awarded the trophy and go on one hell of a night out.

However Sneyd are not happy with this outcome and make an appeal to the Downs League, which is rejected. Sneyd are still not happy and appeal to the GFA, who then orders that the game should be replayed, which it is some five months later and they win the game and therefore the title.

It's one of the main reasons why everyone on the Downs hate Sneyd.

 

Cant see what they did wrong to be honest. The officials made a mistake in the game and failed to spot the 12th man on the pitch. That decision costed them the title and the rightfully appealed which they rightfully won. Justice was served and they won the replay and therefore rightfully got what they deserved..... the title!

 

To be honest being a Bristol Rovers fan I wouldn't have expected any other response from you

 

I'm still undecided whether to have 10 or 12 teams so all the ones in blue are definite the ones in red are a maybe
