Sky reporting that we failed to sign that keeper in time. Well done everyone. Goodnight.

We'll be sound with Pickford, man. Mannone is coming back earlier than first thought.

I'm more concerned about our strength upfront.

To be honest never heard of the guy until about 10.45 tonight. It's just the fact that we simply can't do things right.

    It's Pickfords time now.

With Vito back earlier than first predicted we may not be in the predicament we think. If the worst happens we culd sign a pensioner.

Happy with Pickford, this is the young mans chance to make the keepers Jersey his own.. Good luck to him and hope he nails it. I was more concerned with The M'Vila tweet; however reports claim they wanted 7 million for 4 months.. Idiots... Happy to have him January instead of paying that much now.
Even more concerning is not getting a recognised striker as foil to Defoe

Stryjek. Dinnar how good he is mind.

Not bothered about Pickford being able to do the job and the defence has been improved. Plenty would argue he`s better than Vito anyway.

We only need emergency cover until Mannone gets back. The bloke`s not deed.

I'm glad. Pickford finally gets his time to shine and I'm convinced he'll geab it with both hands and remain in goal even after vito returns.

If worst happens and jordan gets injured don't we get an emergency loan anyway? Or bring Harper back <yikes>

It's a hard balancing act, I want the kids to get a chance but a young inexperienced keeper has just cost us 2 points, hopefully he learns quickly!

All keepers, even the best, drop the odd clanger. You can't condemn the kid for one mistake. Good keepers are the ones who drop less than the norm so unless he becomes mistake prone it is unfair to start claimimg he has lost us points. Anyway the window is shut so until Vito recovers or the January window opens we have little option but to go with him.

An experienced centre half missed a sitter at the other end which cost just as many points. But a lot forget that.

Yeah but the keepers will always get more pressure as their mistakes mean goals. Any other mistakes might not have a higher punishment, not fair but the reality.

Would it be fair to say Kone was equally responsible for costing us 2 points? After all he missed a sitter free header at the other end.

Even that didn`t stop Calamity James.

I goggled it, so our current situation is similar; I thinks Jordan will develop into a better keeper than Mignolet... Just my opinion :)

Mignolet would become first choice keeper again after a knee injury to Gordon in February, and earned a string of rave reviews for his performances.[8] Following the draw, manager Steve Bruce hailed the young keeper's fine start to life in English football.[9]Mignolet cemented his position as first choice keeper the following season, being preferred to new signing Keiren Westwood in goal.[10] On 29 October 2011,

Perfect point, we could even argue that Vito is only five year older than Jordan so a few games and he is up to speed.
