Town travel on Easter Monday to Northampton Town in the hope of securing possible League One safety. Whereas Northampton are virtually safe in 16th place with 51 points in the table but could do with the points to confirm it.

Town will be without Roberts who is still injured, Ogogo has resumed training but would be doubtful he will be risked on Monday

Northampton might start with top scorer, midfielder John Joe O'Toole although he is struggling with a groin injury, likewise Brendan Maloney is ready for a start. Michael Smith and Luke Williams, who were both forced off in the game at Millwall on Friday. Williams is suffering from a hamstring injury.

Let's hope town do us proud and get some points and other games go our way. Floreat Salopia.

An ultimately frustrating afternoon when we failed to get three points in a game we dominated (60% possession and thirteen corners). What a great sight to see Abu leading the team out and he was superb all afternoon and got us passing it well. Whalley and Grimmer worked together to demoralise their left back who was eventually sent off for a spate of fouls on Whalley. That prompted a prolonged spell of real pressure from us leading to Sadler's goal. Unfortunately our final cross was often poor and both Payne and Dodds had off days otherwise I am sure we would have got three deserved points. No player has ever been more aptly named than O' Toole and it was just a pity he did not lose the plot a few minutes earlier than the 90th. It was no surprise to see Yates having his best game for us as he had a midfield partner who lead by example. If we play like this on Saturday and show a little more quality in the final third we should be able to beat Southend and virtually secure safety.
