Nottingham Forest v Bristol City Preview please log in to view this image Nottingham Forest full-back Dani Pinillos is in contention for a starting place ahead of his side's Sky Bet Championship clash against Bristol City. The 24-year-old made his return from a knee injury as a substitute in the draw at Birmingham and interim boss Gary Brazil may hand the Spaniard a starting berth. Pajtim Kasami and Danny Fox are also nearing returns but Saturday's match could come too soon for the pair. Armand Traore (knee) and Chris Cohen (groin) remain sidelined with long-term injuries. Forest will also be without midfielder Henri Lansbury after his transfer to fellow Championship club Aston Villa but Jamie Ward returns from a loan spell at Burton. New signing Fabian Giefer could make his Bristol City debut if the Robins receive international clearance in time. The German goalkeeper has been signed on loan from Schalke until the end of the season. City have no new injury worries but Korey Smith has now been ruled out for six to eight weeks with a hamstring problem. Adam Matthews is close to a comeback after calf and hamstring trouble, but the Wales defender remains sidelined for the next seven to 10 days. Match facts Forest have lost their last four league games against the Robins, conceding two goals in each game. Bristol City have won two of their last three league trips to the City Ground - more than they'd won in the 23 matches prior to this run. Forest have dropped the most points from leading positions in this season's Championship (20). The Robins have lost their last seven league matches - they've never lost eight in a row in their entire history. Tammy Abraham has scored 43% of City's league goals this season, the highest percentage by one player in the Championship. Forest Facts NOTTINGHAM FOREST Nottingham Forest come into the game in a difficult situation. Under the caretaker charge of Gary Brazil for the first time following the departure of Philippe Montanier, the Reds have just sold star man Henri Lansbury to Aston Villa and find themselves on an eight-match winless run. Forest and City are now level on 27 points, three points clear of the Sky Bet Championship drop zone. MANAGER A goalless draw at Birmingham City proved to be the end of the road for Frenchman Montanier, who won only nine of his 30 games in charge and lost 15. Ex-Preston North End and Fulham forward Brazil steps into temporary charge – a position he filled towards the end of the 2013/14 campaign. Brazil also managed near neighbours Notts County on two occasions, having previously assisted Sam Allardyce at Meadow Lane. OFFICIALS Referee Darren Bond will be in charge of the match, assisted by Andrew Fox and Matthew McGrath. John Brooks has been named as the fourth official. TICKETS The match is pay on the day for City supporters, with adult tickets priced at £26, seniors £18, Under-18s £14 and Under-12s £7. LAST TIME OUT Bristol City 2-1 Nottingham Forest. City chalked up a fourth straight win with this victory back in October. Trailing at the interval courtesy of Apostolos Vellios’ 33rd-minute opener, Lee Johnson made a double change by introducing experienced duo Gary O’Neil and Aaron Wilbraham. City turned the game on its head with two goals in four minutes, as Tammy Abraham seized upon an underhit backpass before Jamie Paterson struck the winner against his former club with his first goal for his new employers. LAST SEASON Sky Bet Championship: 16th FA Cup: Fourth Round (Lost to Watford) EFL Cup: First Round (Lost to Walsall) DID YOU KNOW? Nottingham Forest’s back-to-back European Cup triumphs under Brian Clough came in a golden era for English clubs, who won the competition six years running from 1977 to 1982 (Liverpool three times, Forest twice, Aston Villa once). ODDS Sky Bet has installed Nottingham Forest as narrow favourites at 6/4, with City priced at 7/4. The draw is a 12/5 shot. Lose today then he has to be relieved of his duties. Look at the next month frightening. Get the new man in,and let him sort this mess out. LJs biggest game in his short management time today in my opinion.
I see you have not voted regards LJ I assume you are happy with the stats interested to now what your view is,you seem to be sat on the fence, not saying anything.
Bib, big game- Next after cup is Sheff Wed and then Rotherham which has to be a win at home. Its then followed by some really toughies. Derby and an in form Leeds away, Fulham at home and the Newcastle and Villa both away in the space of 3 days. If he cant get it right against Forest and Rotherham there is no hope in the other fixtures.
perfectly perfectly clear - unless of course your reading skills are the same as your punctuation and reading skills, I support ALL the players and management of this club unless I feel they are giving less than 100% and will continue to do so, and no we are not in crisis- the 80s the ag8 etc -- THAT was a crisis, now go back to cuddling your Warnock doll, and remember silence can never be misquoted. by the way look and youll see I did vote.
Genuinely could be LJ's last match in charge of this club. Here's hoping for a Mark Robins-esque finish to the game to transform our fortunes as he did for Sir Alex.

So the vote was 20 for the sack and including Wings 13 wanting LJ to stay, not so far apart as I imagined and a win today who knows..
This is a match day thread that Wiz has worked hard to produce.. do you need to put your repetitive opinion here?? We know what you think! You tell us every 20 minutes.. play a different record.

Wiz invited comment ... "So the vote was 20 for the sack and including Wings 13 wanting LJ to stay, not so far apart as I imagined and a win today who knows.." however RR DOES LIKE TO make his opinion known and should learn to reign it in a bit, we certainly wont forget RR wants LJ OUT in the next couple of weeks ...
Looks a good side, cannot ask for any more, time for the players to produce. Common city let's be having you
