Liam Cooper, Jamie Devitt, Tom Cairney, Will Atkinson etc

Personally ive been impressed with Devit this season, he looks a really good prospect.

I'm only going for cairney tbh. The lads got skill and proved he could cut it in the prem last season. I dont rate any of the other names mentioned anywhere near as much, especially atkinson.

Atkinson, he never looks confident for me and always looks worried to take a player on, however at League one or League two will be his level. However i think the other three can all make it. First of all Devitt the runs he makes and the runs he spots are the key thing, i just don't see how people can not see his movement and the movement that he spots. He has a future in the game at a high level! I also think Cooper and Cairney do they both have good touches and have both proved to have talent. Cooper's is at a lower level but he has talent and i think we will see more over the years. Cairney proved last year if he gets more time on the ball he can do it but this year team don't give you that space which is why he probably hasn't done his best.

End of last season I would have said Cairney and maybe Cullen. Now it's Devitt.

Yeah Cairney for me, he might find it harder in the Championship with the time he needs, but he should come good, Devitt is a good shout as well

Can't we now add Cameron Stewart and James Chester to that list?

Cooper for me, every day of the week.I don't know Cairney from Adam but have been in his company a few times of late.Strikes me as a bit full of himself, something that could not be said for Chester,Evans,Stweart or Devitt who came across as down to earth lads.Attitude is a massive part of how and who will continue to develop and I have my concerns that he is getting a bit big for his boots.Cairney is also always named as the worst trainer at the club by other players, he should be embarrased that his team mate think this of him, whether he does or not is anyones guess.

I started to wonder about Cairney's attitude at the end last season when he lost the ball and instead of fighting to get it back he carried on running in the opposite direction with his arms in the air in a Frank Lampard 'I'm way ahead of you' style. It was only a minor thing but it rang alarm bells for a youngster to be doing it. (with his coloured boots etc).

Gavan Hoolan, Sonny Bradley and Danny Wilkinson. Our lack of good young forwards coming through worries me

Devitt and Chester. Cairney seems to have stalled in his development as had Stewart, and Cooper hasn't featured in the first team since the defeat to Arsenal.

On the plus side, if you look at the front 6 from Saturday, so long as we get Evans on a permanent we've got a good few years left in them. And with Devitt and Simpson on the bench as well there's not too much of a rush for them to come through. The more games Cairney, Cooper, Devitt, and I suppose Cullen get the more youngsters will look at us as being a good club to join if they want to break through.
