Imo there has been better. Roadrunner and Honkhonkphooey for starters. Even in Tom and Jerry, the bulldog stole the show. But they have stood the test if time. A bloody long time.
I would put Tom and Jerry streets ahead of the two you mentioned Comm, but it's alll about personal choice I suppose..
Good but nowhere near my favorite. I like some of the more obscure ones. Loved Ralph Wolf & Sam Sheepdog and Pepé Le Pew. Com's choices are spot on too.
Problem is Tom and Jerry, much Like Bugs and Daffy were over aired. Some of the more obscure I find much more refreshing to rewatch.
Talking about obscure...Anyone else remember Giganto The Space Age Robot and Atom Ant...They were two of my favourites when I was a kid..
Going away from cartoons a little bit, I did, and still do, enjoy watching the Gerry Anderson productions such as Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet..
I love him. The original producer from the 80's series, has developed a brand new series! 26, half hour episodes!
