THE OFFICIAL FANTASY FOOTBALL HEAD-TO-HEAD KNOCK-ONE-OUT CUP - ROUND 1 REEEEEESULLLLLTSSSSSS

So, after a hard fought first round, one or two big scalps have been taken - not least the Ponytail that once belonged to Darren Peacock (after a complete route by lower league 'Zeppellin FC'). This is what the cup is all about!

In other notable results, a very unlucky 'ToonArmyBills' bowed out, despite racking up the third highest score of the week. Unfortunately, The Bills faced the high flying 'Heed' who top-scored to not only go through in the cup, but also extend his lead at the top of the league. Booooo! Hisss!

Elsewhere, 'Nouveauchateau Utd' showed some class with an impressive victory over 'EnnyoueffseeXI', while Dr Bam Bam Shak Shak the room's 'Super Mega Criminals' also turned in a masterful display, leaving 'Siems Like Magic' on the treatment table.

Very, very narrow victories for 'Ahh Divvint Knaa' )) and 'Hot Shots Pardew' meant goodbye for crowd favourites (well, sort of, almost) 'Tash's Tashingtons' and 'Stop getting injured'.

Perhaps the most pleasing results of all )), were the defeats for some horrible Smoggy WUM and his People's Front sidekick, as 'Lets All Go Rolando' and 'Inter Theirsister' took severe, sustained and brutal beatings from 'Lads on Toure' and 'Useless underdogs'.

It may be worth having a word with him Less Nev just to check.

He is the expert on rules after all.

I know I find his discrete input extremely helpful.

 

I have to admit, I feel a bit embarrassed for the rest of the league.

Here I am, a complete Novice at this Fantasy Football lark, against long established Fantasy Managers and yet I'm so far ahead.
How can that be, it cant only be down to pure luck or the advice my Dog keeps on giving me, or was that the Goldfish.
