The Chairboys travel south west to Home Park to take on the Pilgrims hoping to capture the kind of form of last May's play off semi, in which they stormed to a 3-0 lead before two late goals from the home side took the gloss off a stunning performance, goals this season have been very much harder to come by but hopefully with the inclusion of PCH into the squad this will change, at a ground where under Gareth Ainsworth tender we have a perfect record having won on our last four visits. I expect Gaz to make changes from the goal shy team as of late with PCH starting up front along side either AAH or Ugwu and Blooms returning to midfield if fit or maybe the return of Beany. The Pilgrims sit heathly second in the table with a nine point cussion over fourth place, but their home form isn't so good having only won twice at Home Park since October, so hopefully this trend will continue and the lads can find some form and be heading back up the M5 / M4 with a much needed 3pts
Unlikely Guy but we can hope. Plymouth have failed to score in the League just twice this season and the last time was 3 months ago. So it's unlikely that they won't score, given that Harlepool, Morecambe and Orient managed to in our last 3 league games. Added to that, we failed to find the net once over those 3 games. Not looking good. From a betting viewpoint the 5/4 against Plymouth to beat us looks about the most generous price from those bookie chaps. Let's hope the form book gets thrown out of the window. Having written that, I realised I haven't backed Plymouth. I have now. Hopefully put the mockers on them
You've blown it already chaps. To explain. Argyle have the worst record of any team at any time in history for ex players scoring against them. We even loaned out a defender to a team and our stupid bungling board allowed him to play a league match against us. He scored of course. You have just got rid of your ace in the hole Banton. Now, I doubt you wanted him to stay and your manager certainly didn't obviously but he would have probably got a hattrick. You aren't allowed to play Cowan-Hall because that would be cheating now I've given away the secret.
Wycombe: Lynch, Jombati, Jacobson, McCarthy, Pierre, Harriman, Bean, Bloomfield, Cowan-Hall, Hayes, Ugwu. #PLYvWYC
The midfield looks stronger than it has for months, thing is who will replace Wood (no loss) on the left PCH or Harriman?
