Rat house corner. Went down the cat and dogs yesterday to see the tides. **** that. It was blowing a hoolie. The cod can live another day.
Blast from the past. My only memory of that place was around 1980/1981 and they had an airplane on site and me and my cousin spent hours (probably minutes) in the cockpit just messing about on the controls and switches. Then you went down the inflatable slide and back round again. Great times.
The cod will be moving out into open sea now mate. They only come inshore during the winter. Even then the pickings are slim with hardly owt worth taking. Might try for mackerel during the summer, aint been fishing for ages.
I'd normally fish the pier at high water although I do have a 14' beachcaster and a very nice Abu multiplyer. Just don't get the time much these days.
