This couldn't be more off topic if it tried but here goes anyway. Does anyone know anywhere where I can buy in bulk, good quality locally sourced organic fruit and veg? Went to a couple of farm shops at the weekend which were OK and found a list of farmers markets as well which we need to explore but I just wondered if any of you have used or found any around the region (Tyne and wear) that I could perhaps check out? Missus has been to some organic fruit and veg shop in heaton today and paid nearly £10 for 7 apples :-( I'm all for healthy eating like but not when it's gonna use up all me beer money ;-)
I heard that Sports Direct were opening an Organic Food Store in the stadium shortly. According to a press release they reckon there has been so much shxte on the pitch this year it should provide an ideal growing environment during the close season.
Erm....Aye ! Been back nearly a year now :-( I've gone from not looking forward to getting up (or staying up) at/till 1 and 2 o clock in the morning to watch the toon, to not looking forward to sitting down at 3/4pm in the afternoon to watch the toon. The only upside is that at least now I can drink myself into oblivion whilst watching it to numb the pain and block it out, whereas before I couldn't due to being at work 4 hours after the final whistle. The Aussies love a beer as much as the next bloke but the days of me rolling into work pissed and spending the first few hours on auto-pilot are long gone....sailed away down the Tyne when the Tuxedo Princess left
