I've been to DC and is it not a nice place at all. Also, going back to Orlando, Universal Studios > Disneyworld by a ****ing mile.
As long as you don't go to Disneyland, that place is a giant measles Petrie Dish. Orlando City is rumored to be signing Ballotelli after the PL season is over apparantly Kaka is friends with him and is trying to convince him to sign.
Doesn't surprise me, he's had a shocker of a time at Liverpool. At the moment I am staying neutral with the MLS, as I'm going to support one of the new teams, Los Angeles or Atlanta, when they come in (even though they don't start until 2017). Atlanta would make more sense as I am a Falcons fan.
Isn't Los Angeles just Chivas USA that was kicked out last season? Don't pick them it's just going to be the same fan base as before and it was a pretty pathetic fan base.
We need the MLS board, Ricardo was trying to get it for us after I asked. Well, pick SJ until Atlanta joins the league so I can have someone to talk to.
It can't just be me that thinks Portland having ALASKA Airlines as their sponsor is just a tad bit weird?
Yea, every game in the US is shown live so if there is a game you want to see that isn't on sky there will be a stream of it somewhere.
It's an airline everywhere in the US, Im sure hardly any of their business actually goes to Alaska anyway.
My interest in MLS has always been minimal, just following the players rather than a team, but decided to start following Orlando City. I already follow the Magic, so get ready for great failure from OC, my American Football team is the Bengals, say no more!
I'm on holiday in Orlando in June so I think I will go the the game with DC United, 7pm on a Sunday Night never been to a game at that time on a Sunday, the missus don't know yet but I'm sure she will love it, like last year when I drove to Miami to see England pre World Cup, she loved that as well, not really
Ffs fellas, you don't just randomly choose a football team, that way lays chaos and disaster. It chooses you. I am happy to report mind, that DC United has chosen me. #utdcu
It's FC Dallas for me. I will be attending the home opener this Saturday night against San Jose. please log in to view this image
By the way, as to drums in the MLS, it is an irritant we have had to become accustomed to. MLS naturally has a significant level of Hispanic heritage among the fan base, and this was particularly acute in the early days of the league. Drums are commonplace in Mexican leagues and other Central American leagues so it is only natural fans of those leagues would bring those customs here. What I cannot get accustomed to, and do not WANT to get accustomed to, are those insipid vuvuzelas. That is a cancer we have brought upon ourselves. MLS clubs works hard to get kids to the matches, in the hope of making lifelong fans. Kids like vuvuzelas. Ugh.
Not if they go on strike which looks likely to happen. The owners latest offer is free agency for anyone with 8 years in the MLS and who is over the age of 28 which is frankly silly as most people don't come into the MLS until after college so it is in effect only free agency for anyone who is 30 and who has played in the MLS their entire career. I'm sure the players representative laughed at them when they offered that deal.
I care less about the drums then the stupid brainless chants. If I have to hear for one more game "Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, Uh San Jose, repeat for 90 min plus extra time I am going to kill myself.
